- Mentha arvensis (Pudina Khushk) : Mentha arvensis is a perennial plant belonging to the Mentha genus. This mint plant is found in various parts of Europe, Asia and North America. Its common names include Field Mint, Wild Mint or Corn Mint; however, it is better known by its scientific name Mentha arvensis. The leaves of this herbal plant have a fresh minty flavor and are used for culinary and medicinal purposes. The essential oil extracted from the leaves also has many uses. The Mint leaves can work as blood cleanser with their antibacterial and antiseptic properties, alleviate mouth ulcers, toothache and swollen gum , relief arthritis and joint pains, antispasmodic and anesthetic,
- Pistacia vera (Rind) (Post Berune Pista) :The plant is used in China for the treatment of abdominal ailments, abscesses, amenorrhoea, bruises, chest ailments, circulation, dysentery, gynecopathy, pruritus, rheumatism, sclerosis of the liver, sores and trauma. The seed is said to be sedative and tonic.
- Citrus medica (Rind) (Post Turanj) : The fresh shoots, leaves, flowers, fruits and seeds of citron have all entered into a number of traditional medicinal preparations for the treatment of asthma, arthritis, headache, stomach-ache, intestinal parasites and certain psychological disturbances (insanity, possession by evil spirits). Decoctions of the roots are reportedly used to treat respiratory problems and backache in China.The fruits are used in the treatment of malaria, coughs and colds.
