• Bleeding per rectum:

• Bloody stools:
  • The presence of blood in the stool can range from bright red to dark tarry stools (melena). Causes can include hemorrhoids, diverticulosis, colorectal cancer, or gastrointestinal bleeding.
• Amoebic dysentery:
  • A severe form of dysentery caused by the parasite Entamoeba histolytica. It leads to symptoms like severe diarrhea with blood and mucus, abdominal pain, and fever. It is often contracted through contaminated food or water.
• Bleeding piles:
  • Also known as hemorrhoids, these are swollen veins in the lower rectum and anus that can bleed, especially during bowel movements. Symptoms include pain, itching, and swelling in the anal region, and bright red blood on the stool or toilet paper.
