Side Effects of Trikatu Syrup
Trikatu Syrup contains herbs and spices commonly used in our daily kitchen, but excessive intake can cause unwanted effects. It is safe to use in doses lower than 1 gram per day.
The most common side effect of Trikatu is heartburn and acidity. The excess dosage may cause the following side effects.

- Mouth ulcer (rare)
- Sweating (rare)
- Redness in eyes or burning sensation in eyes (very rare)
Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
- Trikatu powder is beneficial during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
- It is SAFE in a dosage of 500 mg per day during pregnancy and 1000 mg per day during lactation.
- Larger dosages may be UNSAFE. Therefore, the maximum dosage should not exceed 500 mg per day during pregnancy and 1000 mg per day during breastfeeding.
- Higher dosages during pregnancy may result in bleeding, spotting, or miscarriage.

- Vomiting with sour vomitus
