1969
Joined M.R. Stores, a renowned departmental store in Long Bazaar, Vellore, as a managing partner. During the 1980s and 90s, M.R. Stores was a household name across the entire North Arcot District, known for its diverse range of products, including alternative medicines, cosmetics, imported goods, and food items. Under my leadership, we expanded the store into a major wholesale distributor for prestigious brands like Hamdard, Tayyibi, Shama, Imcops, and others, serving the entire North Tamil Nadu region.
1998
Founded Thaha Agencies & Thaha Associates as a dedicated wholesale distributorship, representing leading manufacturers of Ayurveda, Siddha, and Unani medicines such as Hamdard, Imcops, NewShama, Tayyibi, SKM, Zinda tilismath, Dabur, Baidynath, Zandu, Himalaya, and more. We proudly serve as the sole wholesale distributors for the districts of Vellore, Arcot, Ranipet, Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri, Tiruvannamalai, and Polur. Additionally, we are the Super-stockist for Tamil Nadu for esteemed brands like NewShama, Delahvi, Rex, Tyke Pharma, Pekiza Unani, and Sana Herbal, ensuring a broad and reliable supply across the region.
2014
Established retail outlets under the name Herbanation to meet the increasing demand for alternative medicines. Today, we proudly operate shops in Vellore, Melvisharam, Ambur, and Vaniyambadi, bringing quality herbal and traditional remedies closer to our customers.
2016
Launched www.herbanation.com to make Ayurveda, Siddha, and Unani medicines easily accessible online, bringing the benefits of traditional healing practices to customers nationwide. We were one of the first online stores to sell these medicines, pioneering the availability of these remedies on the internet.
